ITB 503

The ITB 503 was converted to a very versatile ramp equipped deck barge by Island Tug in 1998. At the same time the barge was completely and refurbished adding a helicopter landing pad and new hydraulic bow ramp. The 503 has been utilized as a helicopter support barge, cable-laying vessel, and coastal equipment barge. She has on board generators and hydraulics as well as two large capacity pumps for the ballast system and cable chute water wash system.
